Vice governor of Nógrád Hungarian Mr. Istvan and his delegation visited GZU at 4 pm on July 25. Vice President Mr. Wu Cinan received the visiting group, having a discussion in the No. 1 Meeting Room with visiting groups and heads and representatives of various departments and colleges from GZU.
The delegation's visit is to seek cultural and educational exchange, and to explore the possibility in the cooperation of automotive manufacturing industry.
The beginning of the discussion was a welcome and brief introduction of GZU by Vice President Wu. He hopes this visit could build a bridge for cooperation between GZU and universities in Hungary.
Then the Hungarian side introduced Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), which holds more than 20,000 students with a similar academic system like GZU, covering architecture, mechanical, electrical engineering, economics, biology, civil engineering and other disciplines. They also showed the research fruits on automotive research and development of their school.
Later, Mr. He Feng, vice dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, GZU, briefed the visiting group of the current sitation of his school. Both sides agree to maintain close contact in automotive R & D to further explore the feasibility of cooperation and exchange.
After a preliminary exchange and communication, both sides said that they would discuss the feasibility of cooperation and exchange in the area of automotive research and development, student exchange programs, and Chinese language teaching.
